FlexiForm - new rectangular mounting cup in translucent silicone rubber
- The silicone rubber is very flexible which makes it very easy to unmount the mounts.
- The new FlexiForms have polished inner sides so the sides of the mount becomes very smooth. Consequently mounts with transparent resins become very clear and transparent.
- The sides are straight which make it easier to clamp the mounts in a specimen holder as they do not tilt due to conical sides.
- The new FlexiForms are especially suitable for use with acrylic cold mounting resins (ClaroCit, DuroCit and VersoCit-2) where they can be reused over 30 times. FlexiForms can be reused 8-10 times when using epoxies (as silicone rubber is less resistant to epoxies).
