DuraVision semi-automatic, universal and macro hardness testers are designed for Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell and/or Knoop hardness testing. The DuraVision semi-automatic range covers the entire load range of regular hardness testing, i.e. from 9.8 N to 29400 N (1-3000 kgf), and offers an unprecedented ease-of use.

The range consists of DuraVision-20/-30/-40 with a fixed test head and a manual height adjustment of the test anvil, as well as DuraVision-200/-300/-400 with a fixed test anvil and a motorised test head. Load ranges DuraVision-20 and DuraVision-200: 9.8 N to 2450 N (1-250 kgf) DuraVision-40 and DuraVision-400: 29.4 N to 7350 N (3-750 kgf) DuraVision-30 and DuraVision-300: 98 N to 29400 N (10-3000 kgf)

Easy to use

Easy and flexible clamping combine with ecos Workflow™ software and touchscreen operation to ensure easy and simple operation and result reporting.

High accuracy and repeatability

The accurate and repeatable loading system based on load cell technology together with a state-of-the-art high-quality optical system, ensures accurate and repeatable image and hardness evaluation.

Versatile

In addition to hardness testing on regular standard samples, the DuraVision is ideal for testing of irregular and/or large samples using flexible nose cones or the expandable and versatile test anvil.

KEY FEATURES THAT ENSURE CORRECT AND FAST TESTING PROCEDURES

  • DuraVision Nose cone for easy and flexible clamping

Nose cone for easy and flexible clamping

The nose cone ensures that samples are easily clamped and well supported during testing. It also provides protection for indenters and lenses. The removable nose cone inserts ensure that even irregular geometries can be tested easily. The DuraVision can even perform tests without the nose cone or nose cone inserts, with test loads up to 3000 kgf.

  • DuraVision Automatic start and unclamping

    Automatic start and unclamping (DuraVision-200/-300)

The test cycle starts automatically when the nose cone touches the sample surface. Unclamping is also automatic. This means that the user avoids manual clamping and unclamping of the specimen before and after each measurement. Together with automatic test cycle starts, significant time saving can be achieved during high volume, repetitive testing, thus increasing efficiency.

  • DuraVision Auto focus system

    Auto-focus system (Vickers, Brinell, Knoop)

Traditional image analysis based focusing is often slow and inaccurate. DuraVision’s “focal-length” technology is rapid, precise and repeatable. This means faster and easier hardness evaluation.

  • DuraVision Expandable and flexible test anvil

Expandable and flexible test anvil (DuraVision-200/-300)

The test anvil can be expanded to accommodate large sample sizes. Large and heavy samples can easily be loaded/off-loaded by a forklift.

  • DuraVision Motorised test head and fixed test anvil

Motorised test head and fixed test anvil – the V-concept (DuraVision-200/-300/-400)

The V-concept ensures rigid and stable testing conditions without compromising the testing height capacity.
It eliminates spindle effect and the sample is always at the same height above the floor. This means accurate and reproducible results regardless of the sample size as well as improved working comfort.

  • DuraVision Advanced optical system

    Advanced optical system

The integrated two-step optical zoom system enables fast switching between different views without loss of image quality. This improves versatility even further and reduces the number of lenses needed. An optional 7-step optical zoom is also available.
