Standard, easy-to-use testing clamps and special devices that are ideal for on-site inspection. The N4 is the standard testing clamp for on-site testing of regular workpieces. The N6 is designed for easy hardness testing on internal diameters, and the N7 is designed for testing tooth flanks on gears, etc.

Simple operation

Loading (pre-loads and main loads) are easily applied by means of a lever: 1. Application of pre-load 2. Application of main load 3. Application of second pre-load 4. Return to initial position

Customized test loads

The basic N4 allows for a direct readout on an analog dial gauge. The loads and indenters can be individually adapted to suit particular requirements.

Adaptability

N4 hardness testers can be configured with a number of pre-defined test loads, depending on test method requirements. Two basic options can be chosen: a) Basic Test Unit (EMN1A001) with one available test load (spring sleeve), e.g. 1,470 N (150 kgf) b) Adjustable Test Unit with three built-in test loads, for instance 588/980/1470 N (60/100/150 kgf)

Clamping width 0-20 mm, throat depth 110 mm. Without test unit, dial gauge, and indenter. Incl. plane anvil dia. 17 mm.
