Our Product Life Cycle Program helps you understand the status of your Struers equipment.
In that way, your lab can run at optimal efficiency and performance without any breakdowns.
At Struers, we have always prided ourselves on the quality and longevity of our equipment, where it is normal to see equipment aged 20-40 years still running in our customers’ laboratories. However, it has become increasingly difficult to guarantee the ability to supply spare parts and maintain the service levels that Struers would like to be known for to ensure our customers’ preparation accuracy, certainty, and safety.
We are committed to providing industry-leading service and support to our customers. The Product Life Cycle Policy for equipment is designed to help you understand the support status of your Struers equipment and to plan for the future and to keep your lab running at optimal efficiency and performance.
Our Service Support Policy has been divided into three defined product lifecycle phases to clarify the support status of your equipment and lab and what you can expect from Struers, depending on the individual phase.

Active phase
Equipment is produced, sold and serviced
- Full-service support for equipment through Struers ServiceGuard
- Wear parts for equipment are available
- Spare parts for equipment are available
- Preventive maintenance through Struers Service packages
- Full-service support for software through Struers ServiceGuard
- Software updates to the current production version
- Warranty (Warranty depends on installation date)
Service phase
Equipment is not produced or sold but is serviced for a 10-year period when it enters this phase.
- Full-service support for equipment through Struers ServiceGuard
- Service support for equipment up to ten years after out of production
- Wear parts for equipment are available
- Spare parts for equipment are available
- Preventive maintenance through Struers Service packages
- Full-service support for software through Struers ServiceGuard
- Software updates to the current production version
Out of Service phase
Equipment is not produced, sold and serviced
- Service support for equipment is not available
- Spare parts for equipment are not available
- Wear parts for equipment are not available
- Technical support is not available
- No software upgrades and/or updates are available
