Materialographic training courses

In our materialographic training courses, we combine theoretical understanding of the materialographic process with a practical approach, focusing on choosing and using suitable equipment and techniques to support the requirements of sample preparation and examination. We also offer specific courses on hardness testing and microscopy. This provides you with a full range of training to choose from – covering the entire materialographic process, from cutting to sample analysis and verification.

Our TPM (The Professional Materialographer) training courses cover the entire materialographic process, from cutting to sample analysis and verification.

TPM Lectures

The Professional Materialographer Lectures are a full day of classroom teaching, covering everything from cutting, mounting, grinding, and polishing to hardness testing and microscopy. Relative beginners will learn the basics, while experienced materialographers will have the chance to fill in any blanks and improve their understanding. The course will provide you with a basis for implementing new or improved materialographic processes and methods in your lab – and a clear understanding of how Struers Application Services can help you to implement changes.
