Course overview
TPM COURSES
The Professional Materialographer (TPM) is an intensive course program about the metallographic preparation of samples. It combines theoretical training, practical exercises, and hands-on training at one of Struers’ lab facilities. You will learn about the entire preparation process: Cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, and etching with pre-prepared or your own samples.
HARDNESS TESTING COURSES
We offer hardness testing courses with a theoretical introduction to the most common indentation hardness techniques: Vickers, Rockwell, Brinell, and Knoop combined with hands-on practical training in one of our labs. You will also learn how to consider requirements for the metallographic surface preparation of your sample that will affect the result of the hardness test.
CUSTOMIZED TRAINING
You decide on the metallographic topic, length, location, equipment, and material.
